Abstract:

Contemporary constitutional originalism is closely linked to philological methods and principles. But how? Can we historicize this connection between the production of Law and the development of Philology as a central discipline? Velasco will think about that with the Middle Ages, exploring some genealogical trends of the affinity between philology and law.
